female white therapist with blonde hair in front of acropolis in Greece

Hey! I’m Angie

I specialize in guiding you through the complex and often challenging transitions of life. Whether you are navigating career changes, relationship dynamics, or personal growth, I provide empathetic, personalized support.

My approach is rooted in understanding each client’s unique situation and goals. I help you develop the tools and strategies needed to overcome obstacles and embrace new opportunities with confidence. Together, we work to turn life’s transitions into pathways for personal development and success.

I believe in providing a supportive and grounding environment where clients feel guided and centered on their path to healing. Through the integration of therapeutic techniques such as dance/movement, mindfulness, creative expression, and talk therapy, I offer a comprehensive approach aimed at nurturing your well-being.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. It's about working together to uncover strengths, develop self-awareness, and implement practical strategies that can lead to positive change. My role is to provide empathy, insight, and evidence-based practices to help you navigate life's complexities.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy reading books, traveling, spending time with family and friends, going for walks, and dancing. These activities help me stay balanced and rejuvenated, and I often draw on these experiences to bring a holistic perspective to my therapy practice.

I think every person is different, so I make sure each session is specially designed for you, based on what you like and what you need.

My therapy approach

Dance/Movement Therapy (DMT):

Dance/movement therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses movement and dance to support emotional, cognitive, social, and physical integration. Through guided movement experiences, individuals can explore and express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. It's often used to promote self-awareness, enhance communication skills, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being

Self Psychology:

Self psychology is a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and nurturing the individual's sense of self. Developed by psychoanalyst Heinz Kohut, it emphasizes the importance of empathy, validation, and understanding in therapy to help clients develop a stronger and more cohesive sense of self. Through the therapeutic relationship, clients are supported in exploring their emotions, experiences, and relationships to foster growth, healing, and greater self-acceptance.

Humanistic Therapy:

Humanistic therapy is a client-centered approach that emphasizes an individual's capacity for self-awareness, self-actualization, and personal growth. It focuses on the here-and-now experience of the client and the therapist-client relationship, prioritizing empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. Humanistic therapists aim to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their feelings, values, and goals, ultimately empowering them to find their own solutions and fulfill their potential.
